Since its establishment in 1982, Moscon Optics (Pty) Ltd has grown into one of the largest Optical Frame and Sunglass Distributors in Africa. We are proud to represent some of the world leading optical manufacturing companies, exclusively distributing many iconic eyewear brands.

In addition, Since October 2015 Moscon is the exclusive distributor of ACUVUE® Brand contact lenses in South Africa. We are very proud of our partnership with Johnson & Johnson Vision care in this regard.

Moscon operates with a passion for excellence in product, quality, service and people, while investing heavily in cutting edge IT and the development of the independent optical industry.

Moscon Optics (Pty) Ltd is an importer and distributor for optometry practices and retail stores across Southern Africa, servicing our customers throughout the territory via a dedicated network of Sales Consultants and Account Managers.

We operate from our group owned premises in Houghton, Johannesburg.

Since early 2020 Moscon has partnered with Hong Kong based Eric Beare and Associates Ltd to deliver much needed medical and non medical personal protective equipment to the Southern African market place.

We will continue to add new product to our PPE offering to better serve the needs of the market.
